Margaret E. Myers of 3914 Rt. 27, Garland, Pa. passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Margaret was born July 23, 1950, the daughter of the late Francis Briggs and her mother Elizabeth Brittain who survives.

She worked as a night auditor at the Holiday Inn of Warren and also at the Lucy and Desi Museum in Jamestown. She had many hobbies and interests such as: spending time with her grandchildren, flower gardening, being the decorator of the church, she loved to sing, her puppy, her church, traveling to Ireland and the ocean beaches, softball, and loving and living life to its fullest.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Dennis G. Myers, 1 son, Matthew (Jeri) Myers, 1 daughter, Mallary M. Myers, 2 granddaughters, Cayli P. Myers and Crystal L. Peterman, 1 grandson, Matthew D. Myers, 3 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces and nephews along with a large extended family.

Friends will be received on Sunday, July 7 from 1 3 p.m. and 6 8 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home in Youngsville.

Funeral Services will be held at the Garland Presbyterian Church on Monday, July 8 at 11 a.m. with Lay Pastor Tim Olsen, officiating.

Burial will take place at the United Methodist Cemetery in Garland. The family suggests those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Garland Presbyterian Church.

MY sincerest sympathy to all of Peggy's family. She and I were in the same class in high school and also went to Mexico with our Spanish class following graduation in 1968. May God wrap His loving arms around all of you at this difficult time. my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have known Peggy what seems like forever. She was my classmate, our third basemen on our softball team for many, many years (darn good one too) But most of all she was a great friend. She will be greatly missed and I will always hold close to my heart.
