William Irvine

William M. Irvine, 78, of (Wrightsville)  50  Irvine Lane, Pittsfield, PA, passed away at home on Friday, June 9, 2023.  Born on November 11, 1944 in Corry, PA, he was the son of the late Allen M.  and Lucille “Lucy” Saunders Irvine.  Bill enjoyed hunting and 4 wheeler rides with his family.  He loved being with his animals around the farm,  especially his dogs.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He trimmed Christmas Trees at a young age and also worked in a sawmill.  Bill then started a career working in various shops including the National Forge Company.  He drove Semi Truck, worked at Leroy’s Garage in Pittsfield.  He established his own business in 1972, owning and operating Irvine’s Garage  where he did Body and Mechanical Work. He also established Irvine’s Dairy Farm that  he owned and operated for many years and had his own milk route.  Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Pat Walton Irvine; 4 children, Mark Irvine of Corry, Luke Irvine of Sugar Grove,  Amy (Joe) Zelinski of Corry, and Billy (Rhonda) Irvine of Pittsfield; a sister, Mary Kibbey of Pittsfield; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Irvine and a mother-in-law, Margaret Walton.  Friends will be received at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 54 West Main St., Youngsville, PA on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm and also on Wednesday, June 14  from 12 – 1 pm at which time a funeral service will follow at 1 pm.  Graveside services will follow in Wrightsville Cemetery.  Those wishing to send an on-line condolence may do so at www.mckinneyfuneral.com
