Randall Scott York, Sr. passed away on January 4, 2022 at St. Vincent Medical Center after battling a long illness. Born to Milton (Bill) and Patricia Wood York on February 25, 1959, Randall resided in Sugar Grove, PA his entire life. Randall retired from PenDot where he worked for many years. He was an active member of Sugar Grove and prior member of Starbrick firehall. During his time with the firehall, he also was an instructor for PA State Fire Academy. Randall always loved helping others. In the past few years, he missed delivering fruit and vegetables to the local Amish and having his fruit stand in Sugar Grove and Youngsville. Randall enjoyed a lot of time with his family at Mapleshade Motocross. He loved his dog, Amos whom he considered his best friend. He is survived by his children, Kristy (Jay) Kuzminski, Heather (Terry) Crossley, Renee (Matt) Haight, Randall York, Jr., David York, Paul York, Linsey (Steve) Johnson and his ex-wife Deborah York. Randall cherished his grandsons, Trenton, Tucker, Donte and his granddaughter, KyLee. In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brother, Larry York and sisters, Robin Johnson and Linda York. In lieu of flowers, donations can b e made in his memory to Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 259, Sugar Grove, PA 16350. No services will be held. McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Main Street in Sugar Grove are in charge of arrangements.
