Margaret Lydia Davis

Margaret Lydia Davis (Marrs), 78, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from COVID-19 complications, at Corry Manor.  Margaret was born in Sidney, Ohio on October 28, l944, the daughter of the late Eugene and Edna Marrs of Corry, PA.

Margaret lived in Wrightsville, PA with her husband of 59 years, Donald Davis. She graduated from Corry High School in 1962 and from JCC in 1980 with her degree in Radiologic Technology.  She worked at Warren General Hospital for twenty years as an x-ray technician. Margaret enjoyed her family, the farm, her motorcycles, her stained glass hobby, her flowers, playing canasta and most especially her morel mushroom hunting escapades.

She valued everyone who touched her life and appreciated her friends, both Amish and English. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, James and Richard.

Margaret is survived by her husband Donald; her daughter, Susan and husband, Peter Sagona of Pottstown, PA; her son, Donald Alan Davis Jr. of Wheatfield, IN; her grandchildren Cecelia and husband, Ryan Wisser, Peter V. Sagona, Alannah Davis and Brendah Davis; her two sisters, Linda and husband, James Krasa, of Kissimee, FL; Rose and husband, Dean Etzel of Las Vegas, NV; her three brothers Eugene Marrs of Forestdale, MA, David Marrs of Corry, PA, and Daniel Marrs of Columbus, PA.

Family and friends will be received at McKinney Funeral Home, 117 Main St, Sugar Grove, PA on Friday, December 2, 2022 from noon – 2 PM.  A service will follow at 2 PM by Larry Little.   Burial will be in Wrightsville Cemetery, Wrightsville, PA. and will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wrightsville Volunteer Fire Company, 99 Boardman St, Pittsfield, PA 16340.  Online condolences may be made at mckinneyfuneral.com
