Grace Ann Goodman, 77 of Jackson Run Road, Sugar Grove, PA, went home to be with her husband on June 22, 2022. Born in Westfield, New York, on January 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Betty McGonegal Sarver. She was married to Richard Goodman on November 14, 1964 in Sligo who preceded her in death. Grace was employed for over 25 years at Kinzua Valley Nursing Home in Warren. She was an avid dog trainer for twenty plus years at Indian Ridge Training facility. She helped conduct obedience training and also protection work (Schutzhund Sport). She was a member of the Cornplanter K-9 Search Team serving Warren County. She was very enthusiastic when working with the dogs, especially police work training and search and rescue. She will always be remembered by her friends and family for her undying love of dogs, especially German Shepherds. Grace leaves behind her beloved pet, Jax. Surviving are her 3 children, Sherry (Robert) Miles of Springcreek, PA, Richard (Frenchie) Goodman of Bartlesville, OK and Tracy Goodman of Youngsville, PA; 11 grandchildren, Joshua Miles, Diana Miles, Richard Goodman III, Joel (Ash) Goodman, Shane (Kayalyn) Goodman, Bridget (Amy) Spradin, Sean Carlson, Timothy Carlson, Keirrah (Dakota) Morrow, Nick Radar, and Trey Goodman; 6 great grandchildren, Justin Toy, Nebeah Goodman, Kira Goodman, Aries Radar, Nadiah Morrow, and Olivia Morrow; a brother, Richard Sarver; a sister, Karen Pack; her companion of the past 25 years, Ivan DeRemer and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A memorial service will be held at the Wrightsville Community Church on July 9th at 3 pm. Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the service from 1 - 3 pm. Those wishing to place a memorial donations, may do so to New Hope Assistance Dogs or Wrightsville Community Church.
