Bonnie Lucille (Hardy) Brown

Bonnie Lucille Brown, 72, formerly of Sanford, died April 6, 2020 at the Rouse Home.  Born November 17, 1947 in Corry, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mae Slee Hardy. She married Robert Louis Brown who preceded her in death on July 7, 2017. Bonnie loved canning and  making quilts and will be remembered by many of her family members who were the recipients of her quilts. Surviving are 2 daughters, Velma (Mark) Brown of Johnstown, PA and Thelma VanSile of Sicily, Italy; 1 sister, Ellen Murdock of Fairview, PA; 2 sister-in-laws, Leah Gurdak of Corry and Elaine Dombrowski of Girard; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Devin, Austin and Stephen VanSile; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Eugene Hardy. A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family and a graveside service will be held at Sanford Cemetery.  McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 54 West Main Street have been entrusted with all arrangements.  Those wishing to make a memorial in Bonnie's memory may do so to the Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department.   We encourage you to leave an online condolence for the family during this time by visiting the website at   www.mckinneyfuneral.com
