Benjamin J. “Ben” Randinelli, 92, of Pittsfield, PA. passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Corry Hospital, Corry, PA.

Ben was born on August 16, 1929 in Warren, PA, the son of the late Andrew and Amelia Piccirillo Randinelli.

Ben enjoyed playing football in high school and graduated from Youngsville High School in 1947. Following high school he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Ben was a bricklayer and a stone mason for the bricklayer union for several years. He was a steward for building the Warren Mall. Ben built his own home from scratch. 

Ben was a member of Berea Lutheran Church and the Lions Club in Youngsville, PA. He was a ski patroller for Buckaloons Ski Resort and Peek’ n Peak Ski Resort for 39 years. Ben loved baseball and all sports. He was his granddaughters’ number one fan. He attended all their activities and events throughout the years. They remember him being at everything and never missing anything.

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Ruth E. “Brezelle” Randinelli whom he married on October 19, 1957 in Irvine, PA; his daughter: Debra (Tim) Giese of Pittsfield, PA; two granddaughters: Kailey Giese of Ashville, N.C. and Aleea Giese of Pittsfield, PA; two brothers: John (Liz) Randinelli of Youngsville, PA and Andrew (Pat) Randinelli of Allentown, PA and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ben is preceded in death by two sisters: Angeline Hoffman and Isabelle Vesico.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wrightsville Fire Department, 99 Boardman Street, Pittsfield, PA 16340 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Friends will be received at Berea Lutheran Church, 51 958, Pittsfield, PA on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 2-3 pm at which time a funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Pastor Nancy Schwanke, pastor of Hessel Valley Lutheran Church will officiate. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited for a luncheon at the church.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.mckinneyfuneral.com.
