Barbara K. (Knapp) Hill

Barbara K. Hill, 96 a resident of Warren Manor and formerly of Youngsville, PA, passed away November 8, 2021 at Warren Manor.  Born July 19, 1925 in Youngsville, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Ralph and Margaret Johnston Knapp.  She graduated from Youngsville High School in 1943.  Barb married Perry Lee Hill September 9, 1949, who preceded her in death March 18, 2002.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Youngsville where she enjoyed singing in the Choir.  Barb loved to read the comics in the newspaper;  and,  she really enjoyed reading books, especially a good mystery.  She was a devoted homemaker;  and,  was employed several places over the years, her last place of employment being the Warren County Guide where she worked in the  Advertising Department, a position she dearly loved.   Surviving are her 3 children; a daughter, Patricia (Scott) Hurley of Montana, a son, Richard (Evangeline) Hill of Youngsville,   and a daughter, Susan (Robert) Tucker of Warren; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.   A memorial service will be held  at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. in Youngsville on December 11 at 11 am. The family suggests those wishing to place a memorial in Barb's memory, may do so to the First United Methodist Church in Youngsville or the Youngsville Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance.   Condolences may be left at www.mckinneyfuneral.com
