I had the absolute privilege of getting to know Eric during the ten years I worked at the Rouse Home. He was my "boyfriend" (although I was not his only girlfriend there)! He was a bright light, a sweet, caring person, who always tried his best to keep people smiling. He loved snacks and country music, and anyone that knew him knew that he couldn't carry a tune to save his life, but that never stopped him from belting them out at the top of his lungs! He liked to talk (alot) and tell stories about when he worked as a cook prior to his illness.
There have been many wonderful people that I encountered in my time at the Rouse, but Eric was extremely special. He will be remembered fondly. My prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed.
