Ronald E. Wertz, 69, of Youngsville, passed away at Warren General Hospital on July 14, 2019.  He graduated from Youngsville High School Class of 1969.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norma Wertz; a sister, Laura Morgan; and a brother, Raymond C. Wertz, Sr.  He is survived by 2 adult children, Armand and Kira Wertz; 2  sisters, Jane (Donald) Beers and Reba Wertz with whom he lived; a sister-in-law, Nancy Wertz and many nieces and nephews.  Ron worked at the National Forge in Irvine until an illness forced him to retire.  He served in the U.S. Navy from June 1969 to July 1973 and was also a Vietnam Veteran.  Ron also enjoyed boating,  camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends.  Friends may call at  McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. 54 West Main Street, Youngsville, PA  from 3 - 6 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am with Rev. Jeffrey Canter officiating and Bradley Morgan who will deliver the eulogy.  Full military honors will follow at  Warren County Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers, those wishing to place a memorial may do so to a charity of their choice.  Expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting our website at www.mckinneyfuneral.com
