To all the Long families,
This is so sad. Rich was one of those parents who did every thing right when it came to his family. A Youngsville ICON. He will be missed. This is a sad time for the Long family. My deepest of condolences go out to you all.

Dear Family,
My sister Kathy and I were saddened to learn of your father's passing, but know he is where he longed to be in heaven with Jesus and your Mom. The tribute video was beautiful to see and brings to my mind Dewey & Emily, Clark & Chappel Construction, EUB Church, Rouse Home and a host of other connections. In the last years your Dad was a mentor for me on many occasions as I lost my parents and sister. We had a great visit one day at the Page Hollow home, just before I left to go back to NH, again. It was before he sold it. We had a tearful, but great time talking about the past. I didn't have the privilege of meeting his new love, but at the time he was so happy about finding love again. May the Lord comfort all of you as you say goodbye.

I met your mom and Dad when I was sixteen. I knew you guys were a good family. Strict like mine. Ha ha. I went to church with Debi a few times. They were very good people. But Debi and I did give them some grief. I could see a strength in your Dad that reminded me of my Daddy. Debi has Kept me up to speed for so many years of your folks and especially your Dad. And you guys too! I know You all know that it was a honor having this man as your Father. God blessed you for many years. And Peg. I’m glad he had you in his last years. My heart go out to all of you. Tom and Bobby and Becky. Especially to you Debi. ♥️ We’ve seen a lot between the two of us these past 46 years. I thank God for you. They tell me things change when you lose your Mom and your Dad. Now you know. I will be finding out for myself probably soon, as my life is filled with assisting my mom and that strong Daddy of mine. My heart breaks daily. And I yearn for them not to suffer. I am a spirit filled Christian. The Long Family will be in my prayers for years to come. God Bless you all! ✝️🙏💟
