Thom Boyd Meabon, 71, of Heritage Village, Gerry, NY and formerly of Youngsville, PA passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Heritage Village in Gerry. Born in Warren on January 10, 1947,  he was the son of the late Merritt and Lois McAllister Meabon. He worked as a packer  at Bush Industries in Jamestown and had also worked at Youngsville Cemetery previously.   Thom was a lifelong Buffalo Bills Fan and enjoyed keeping a Weather Diary.  He was a member of St. Frances of Assisi Episcopal Church in Youngsville. He enjoyed his morning devotions at Heritage. Surviving are 2 brothers, Neal (Stub) Meabon and his wife Marianne of Lakewood, NY and Jim Meabon of Warren; a niece, Kim Meabon of Jamestown and a nephew, John Meabon and his wife, Kathy of Rochester, NY; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. No services will be held at this time   as a  family "Celebration of Thom" will be held in the spring at the graveside at Sanford Cemetery. To the Meabon family, sending my condolences during this difficult time. Thom was a good friend and will be missed by those who knew him. I will always remember fondly the good times Thom and I shared.

I was saddened to hear of Thom's passing. He was a kind and gentle soul and my memories of him are good one's. He is free at last and in the loving arms of our Lord. Until we meet again..........

Went to school with Thom and Jim. Thom was very nice and quiet speaking. He was always smiling and kind.

Thom I spent many Friday nights at the Dance in Youngsville and you were always there spinning discs. what a great job you did Thank You I hope that you are up there in Heaven spinning some too. Love and prayers for your family

Thom always played the vinyls after basketball games. As part of the AV club at school, he was always helping set up the audio visual equipment for classroom use, etc. He was always pleasant and spoke to you in the hall. He liked everyone.
