Nancy and I became family over 40 years ago, when we were both teenagers and her Mom, who was married to my Grandpa, graciously allowed me to come live with their family. Nancy was a loving and caring individual even then. I have always admired her courage and determination and have envied her crocheting skills! I'm sorry I won't be there on Saturday to share time with all of you.

Andy and Liz - I'm so sorry for you loss. Having recently lost my own Mother, I know the days ahead will be difficult. It is true that your memories, your family and the love your Mom showered upon you will help you through the darker times. And though sadness reigns for a time, remember Heaven's marching bands were playing a song of welcome as she joined those waiting to hug her tight.
Hugs, love and prayers for all.

To ALL of you guys,
I am SO SO sorry for your loss.
I am in tears, and my heart is broken. I cannot imagine the pain that you are all feeling. Nancy was such a good, kind, hard working, never give up, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. I know she LOVED ALL of you. She talked of you all often. You kids were her life. I'm sure she was thrilled about the baby on the way. I haven't seen Nancy in a while, but I do know that she did not ever have the easiest life, but she kept pressing onward. I know she loved the lord, and is resting in his loving arms now. Please know that she touched many more people with her quiet unassuming life than you will probably ever realize. I am so very sorry, but I will be out of town this weekend and will not be able to attend her funeral. Danielle also sends her condolences, and said what a very nice, kind, and good person she always was.

Nancy showed us all how to love. She lived it.

God Bless you all,

Rest now sweet Nancy.
Rest in Peace

Dawn Marie

Nancy & I were in Marching Band together at Eisenhower. I am please to know she still had that wonderful spirit and was able to use her music to bless so many. And, a smile that never quit. We were all blessed to have known her.

May God comfort you all and give you peace.

My sympathy to the family, I knew Nancy because my kids went to school with her sisters, Linda and Diane and I was friends with her mother. I know she will be missed.

I met Nancy at Warren Manor. She was on the same hall as my friend. A warm smile always greeted me as I passed by her room, so one day I stopped. We had quite a few conversations after that, and she was a delight! I told her on Sunday that two of her dishcloths were on the way to Japan, having been bought at the Craft Sale by my friend's daughter-in-law. Nancy and I talked about camping and she wanted to see the inside of my mini-van camper, something I regret we didn't get to. I filled the bird feeder outside her window, hoping the birds would entertain her as they have my friend. I was shocked and terribly sad when I learned of her passing. I had hoped our budding friendship would bloom as time went by. My deep and sincere condolences to her family. She was very special.

Andy and Elizabeth,
We do a devotional service at warren Manor weekly with music and a short message. Recently I said "is that Nancy?" and yes it was. We had not seen each other for a long time and she joined our services so we had a chance to catch up. As always you two were her favorite topic of conversation and her greatest love. She was thrilled that she was going to be a Grandma! What a shock when the Activities aide called to tell us of her passing. We were so glad to have had time and hugs with her. She was special and we know she is making music with Jesus. Our love and hugs and prayers to you. Pastor Bob and Judy Lynch

Hussey Family,

I am extremely sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. Please find strength and comfort in the scriptures at a very difficult time. The Bible promises us that we will have the opportunity to see those lost in death again in the near future. Revelation 21: 3, 4 states, "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

With deepest sympathy,

Shannon
