Victor Joseph Spattifor, age 97, of 508 Liberty St. (The Crary Home) Warren, PA, and formerly of Sugar Grove, passed away on Sunday, August 25th, at his residence. Victor was born in Warren, Pa. on September 10, 1915, a son of the late Anna (Cerando) and Rosario Spattifor.  He had resided in Warren for many years and in Sugar Grove from 1964 to 2010.

Mr. Spattifor had been employed for thirty-seven years at Struthers Wells Corporation retiring in 1977 and had worked previously at Solar Electric Company. He attended Warren High School and served in the US Army in Hawaii from 1934-1936. Many will remember him for the furniture he upholstered and repaired for them.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Spattifor was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five, Constance Delores (Moser) Spattifor; five brother, Anthony, Thomas, Frank, Ross, James; and four sisters, Sarah Pappalia, Rose Barone, Mary Tutaro, and Anna Spattifor. He is survived by his two children, a daughter, Suzanne G. Carlson and her husband, Robert, of Sugar Grove, PA, and a son Bernard R. Spattifor, of Erie, Pa. Also surviving are one brother, Samuel Spattifor, of Martinsville, VA and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-5 pm at Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Main St., Sugar Grove, PA 16350 where a funeral service will  be held at 5 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013.  Burial will be in Warren Co. Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Grove Free Library or Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Association.  Those wishing to send an e-condolance or sign the online guestbook may do so at www.mckinneyfuneral.com

My Condolences for the passing of Victor , I worked at the Crary Home , Victor was a very nice man and I enjoyed the time I got to know him. Thoughts and Prayers go out to your family at this time . God Bless

We were sad to hear of Uncle Vic's passing. We've been away these past 9 days and didn't know. We so enjoyed visiting with him in recent years. He shared about he and my dad and the times they had when they were young men.
