I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family of Tom Bennett. I will always remember him as 'Tommy'; and very good and decent person. Although Tommy was younger than me, and more of a friend to my brother, you could not help but like him. May God Bless you all. Sincerely, Todd

We never met Tom or your family but we are part of your Allegheny family.
So many prayers are being lifted on your behalf right now! It must seem impossible right now but God will see you through this! What a blessing to know that he's in heaven waiting for you, with no pain or suffering!

Sincere sympathy to you, Beth Ann, to your children, and family, and also to the NIBs family. God bless you all!

I hope the following can bring you comfort. You can find the song on youtube, also:

BOW THE KNEE
There are moments on our journey following the Lord
Where God illumines ev’ry step we take.
There are times when circumstances make perfect sense to us,
As we try to understand each move He makes.
When the path grows dim and our questions have no answers, turn to Him.

{chorus}
Bow the knee;
Trust the heart of your Father when the answer goes beyond what you can see.
Bow the knee;
Lift your eyes toward heaven and believe the One who holds eternity.
And when you don’t understand the purpose of His plan,
In the presence of the King, bow the knee.

There are days when clouds surround us, and the rain begins to fall,
The cold and lonely winds won’t cease to blow.
And there seems to be no reason for the suffering we feel;
We are tempted to believe God does not know.
When the storms arise, don’t forget we live by faith and not by sight.

{chorus}

Dear Beth, children and the extended Bennett family,
You have our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of our dear friend, Tom.
We had the privilege of working with him and his family at Northwest Indian Bible School for several years. He was certainly a man who loved God, his family and the Native Americans. He was also a faithful and hard worker. He has fought a good fight, and finished the course gloriously!

My dearest sympathies to all of Tom's family. "Tommy" was one of the first people I met in my new class, when I moved to town. He was always a good friend and a genuinely nice guy. He will be truly missed by his friends and classmates.

It saddens me that Tom has passed, but I rejoice that he no longer is suffering; and, that he has passed from his temporary assignment here on earth into eternal life. My heart aches for you in this time of sadness. I will pray for you and your family. God bless you and yours. Know that God is with you. Just ask Him to hold you and comfort you and He will, indeed, do that. I love you all so much.

Evelyn and family, Sending my condolences to you and your family during this sad time. What a promise we have in Christ Jesus - to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and give you God's peace that surpasses all understanding.

Evelyn, Duane, Beth Ann and all the family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy at the loss of Tom. It's so hard to understand why the Lord would take one so young and so busy in His service. But one thing we have learned through our own losses is that He never wastes one moment of the pain He allows in our lives, and He will carry you through. You will all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers as you face so many changes in the days ahead.

My name is James Miller one of Tom's teachers at Youngsville High School.
I have fond memories of Tom both in the classroom and in one of the
school clubs that I served as advisor. His willingness to help was a great
attribute, along with a good sense of humor will long be remembered.
My sincere sympathy and gratitude I extend to his family.

What a beautiful service Thursday as we celebrated Tom's life. He was a special 'son' and friend. My prayers and sympathy continue to be with each of the families. I know the Lord will continue to hold you each one in His hands.
