She was a talented cake decorator, using her talents to create the cakes for both of her daughters weddings and numerous birthday cakes for family parties. Eloise also loved gardening, bird watching, especially hummingbirds, canning, baking and holding her beloved kitties.

Eloise is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Richard M. Brown, whom she met at Houghton College. They were married on September 5, 1952 at Millview Wesleyan Church, Forksville, Sullivan County, PA.

Surviving are two daughters, Dale Ann (Wolf-Dieter) Krahn, Jamestown, NY and Nadean (Randall) Huck, Russell, PA; seven grandchildren, Julie (Joe) Irons, Lakewood, NY, David (Nikki) Long, Youngsville, PA, Janey Long, Pittsburgh, PA, Laura Long, Pittsfield, PA, Jennifer Huck, Russell, PA, Jason (Misty) Huck, Russell, PA, and Kari (Clinton) Salapek, Russell, PA; four great-grandchildren, Jayla Long, Brayden Long, Jack Irons, and Ryan Huck as well as three pre-born great-grandchildren that will be joining the family soon.
