Pauline Ida (Chapman) Hannold, 91, of Lottsville, Bear Lake, PA, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, went into the loving arms of our lord on Saturday, October 15, 2011, While surrounded by her family.

Pauline was a blessing to family and friends. She always had fresh homemade rolls and cookies for all, made by loving hands.

Pauline was born on January 9, 1920 in Bear Lake, PA, the daughter of the late Jessie and Rush Sr. Chapman. She was a 1939 graduate from Lottsville School and later went on to work as a switchboard Telephone operator in Bear Lake. Pauline was wed to Keith Hannold on August 20, 1940. She was a member of the Lottsville United Methodist Church which she attended faithfully. She was always ready with food and helped with the church meals. Pauline was a homemaker, loved bowling in her earlier years, helped in the Ladies Aid, Girl Scouts, and the P.T.A. in Pittsfield. She also loved knitting, crocheting, and making holiday ornaments for the family. She took great pride in decorating her house. Her dedication and love for her family was immeasurable.

Surviving are 4 children, Roger (Sara) Hannold, Bear Lake, Dora (Willie) Devore, Bear Lake, Sue (Larry) Cole, Bear Lake, Judy (Ed) Rollinger, Warren; 2 sisters, Mildred Beavers, NC, Arlene Lookenhouse, Sugar Grove; 3 sisters in law, Nina Chapman, Bear Lake, Martha Chapman, Bear Lake, Doris Chapman, Frewsburg, NY, as well as 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her wedded husband of 67 years, Kieth Hannold, who passed on July 4, 2007; 3 brothers, Charles, Harold and Rush Jr. Chapman; 3 sisters Mable Nelson, Marjorie Smouse, Geraldine Nyquist, a grandson Rex Hannold, and an infant great grand granddaughter Emma Downs.

Friends will be received  on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Youngsville Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. A funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 18, with Reverend Robert Howles, and Reverend Brian Haight Officiating. Burial will be private in Niobe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Center of Warren or Hospice of Warren. Michelle,Cheryl and Lynn-I am so sorry for the loss of your Grandma, being so close to my own Grandma I can not imagine the sorrow you must feel. She will be your guardian angel and watch over you and your children!

Pauline was a GENTLE, SWEET LADY. She was such a bundle of energy and we will miss her. Already our neighborhood seems so different and lonesome knowing she isn't across the road. Love, Olin and Carol
