Helen I. Haehn Chambers, 91, of 39 Fuller Ave Warren, PA, formerly of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House in Warren.
Helen was born in Clarendon, Pa. on December 10, 1920, daughter of the late Mary Gertrude (Eakin) and William Nobles.
She was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, the Newton Dinner Club, loved fishing, enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and especially family gatherings.
She was the wife of John "Bob" Chambers whom she married Jan 8, 1999. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her
Son Donald (Hilda) R. Haehn, of Pittsfield; Son-in-law Richard A. Case, of Pittsfield; Step Daughter Susan (John) Gregory, of Grand Valley; Step Daughter Beth (Tim) Haehn, of Grand Valley; Sister Ardath Savitz, of Pittsfield; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. Haehn in 1986, a daughter, Sondra Case in 2001, a baby, Larry Francis Haehn in 1938, a grandson, Gary Case in 1989, a granddaughter, Julie Case Cassidy in 2005, step great grandson, Christopher Grady in 1996, 3 sisters, Clarice Dunlap, Katheryn MaGee, and Frances Osborne and 1 brother, Lee Nobles.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 - 8 pm at McKinney Funeral Homes, 54 West Main St. in Youngsville where a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 10th, with Rev. Marcus Briggs officiating. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
